Company Law 2013 Book Introduction 

The Companies Act 2013 got assent from the President of India on 29th August, 2013.The Act comprises of 29 Chapters, 470 Sections with 7 Schedules. It is substantively a law based on Rules.

The changing national and international economic environment, exponential growth of the Indian economy and changes in the stakeholders‘ expectations necessitated for a need for a new Companies Law.

Balance Sheet and P&L Account New Format – Schedule III

Due to applicability of Companies Act 2013, the Old schedule VI which governs the format and rules of Balance sheet and Profit and loss account is no longer applicable. Instead Schedule III of Companies Act 2013 is applicable for November 2015 Exams onwards which has its own balance sheet and P&L account Format.
